Dumisanie Mambiya, Food and Agribusiness Development Company
Dumisanie Mambiya is using his education in Agricultural Management to improve local food security, to create jobs, and to improve conditions for women farmers in Lilongwe, Malawi. Seeing low farmer productivity as a problem to be solved, Dumisanie founded the Food and Agribusiness Development Company (FADC). This enterprise helps to supply local farmers, primarily women, with the implements they need to increase agricultural productivity. FADC also buys agricultural products, helping to bolster and maintain the market.
