Looking Down the Road

Happy New Year to all of our FTI supporters!

As enterprises and organizations all over the world reopen their doors after the holiday season, many are taking the opportunity to reflect on where they are, where they’ve been, and what they’re hoping to accomplish in the coming 365 days.

Here at Flame Tree, we are looking forward to 2015 with vigor. This next year will see the launch of our next DELab. We will build on the lessons from our pilot lab and grow through new partnerships in the continuing dialogue on social entrepreneurship incubation. 

We will launch our pilot incubator which will aid new social entrepreneurships as they find success across Malawi.

We will form new partnerships and strengthen the ones we already have through open communication, reporting, and goal setting. 

We will facilitate new conversations between the private sector, the university, and the Mzuzu community. 

We will generate solutions that bring President Mutharika’s goals from his State of the Nation address into fruition.

We will remain open and reflexive to every new situation while maintaining a firm handle on our goals. 

And perhaps most importantly, we will foster an environment of mutual respect, learning, and growth between our participants, our collaborators, and our staff. Together, we can accomplish so much.
