Dineo Katane-Mkwezalamba is the Founding Director of Dzuka Africa organization.
A Social Entrepreneur, Dineo focuses on the economic sector, enabling youth and women to be employable for entry level jobs or to start their own businesses through Dzuka Africa Organization programs (Internship, Social entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship programs).
Before devoting herself full-time to Dzuka Africa Organization, Dineo acquired a B.com Economics, and Greenbelt Six Sigma (quality assurer) training. She also became a INSEAD-ISEP alumni, the National Sales and Marketing Manager of Access Communications Limited, and acquired directorship in other Telco and Water and Sanitation entities. She has over 15 years of proficiency in start-up capacity building from ideation, incubation and scaling-up. She has managed to establish four incubation hubs for emerging entrepreneurs in Malawi (Dzuka Africa Start-up Hub in Blantyre and in Limbe, Amayi House (an off-grid hub for creatives) and Blantyre Events Hub. Dineo has developed a Start-Up Capacity Building toolkit that is customer oriented (StartMeUp Program ) to enable start-ups to begin and grow their business.
Dineo has served in both domestic and international markets in over seven African countries including Nigeria, South Africa, and Malawi. She has key skills in start-up capacity building, project management, business development, business modeling, coaching and facilitation in a variety of sectors.
Other Achievements of Dineo Katane-Mkwezalamba include but are not limited to: Matla Group Director, Commonwealth Business Women Malawi Chapter Director, Frankfurt School of Finance Business Developer (Malawi), Social Enterprise Academy Tutor (ILM accreditation) and Flame Tree Initiative Board Member.
